ABOUT WELLAND VALLEY JUNIOR ARCHERS
Welland Valley Junior Archers, which is incorporated with Welland Valley Archers, was formed in 1992 and is affiliated to the Leicestershire and Rutland County Archery Association (L&RCAA) and the East Midlands Archery Society (EMAS).
Members are accepted from the age of eight years and those under thirteen are required to be accompanied by parent or guardian for the duration of the shooting session.
The Club operates a Child Protection Policy which adopts the GNAS Child Protection Policy.
We offer a safe and friendly atmosphere for members whether it is to enjoy archery as a social activity in which any member of the family can take part, as an escape for members to do their own sport or to provide a competitive challenge for others.
The Club shoots at Symingtons Recreation Ground, off St Mary's Road, Market Harborough, every Saturday morning throughout the year, and from October to March twice monthly on Sunday mornings at the Harborough Leisure Centre.
The Club runs beginners courses about three times a year, depending on demand, to teach basic skills to potential new members. Details available from the Club Secretary.
Club coaches are available to give individual coaching sessions on request.

VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME
Every SATURDAY throughout the year at Symingtons 9.00am to 1.30pm
SUNDAYS from March through to end September once a month at Symingtons 9.00am to 3.00
SUNDAYS indoors October to March twice a month at Harborough Leisure Centre 8.00am to 12.00
TUESDAY evenings starts in May through to end August are reserved for, "Have a go” evenings for local groups, when not booked for Have a Go club shooting will be allowed from 6.00pm to dusk.
THURSDAY evenings starts in May through to August at Symingtons from 6.00pm to dusk.
