Rugby Football League
RFL are offering their Leagues the facility to use a web based League Managemnet facilty that integrates into their central Membership Database in order to pull out the club/team details such as address, contacts at the club etc. The SportFocus system was selected and within 2 weeks the first of the leagues was in place. English Table Tennis AssociationWe are delighted to have been working with the English Table Tennis Association over the last 3 years. We designed and developed the last site and so we were delighted to be asked to do the latest refresh. As well as the new website we have also recently worked with them to implement their new web based Membership System and also, the on-line Licenced Player renewal system. Over the coming months there will also be a lot of other new on-line facilities introduced.
England SquashSportFocus have been working with England Squash since 2003 and have implemented for them their Membership Database and the National Grading System. The latest project has been the website and a lot of the interaction and functionality is driven from the Membership database, such as the Find a Coach, Club, Area Information etc. Within each of these areas, Coaches and Club/County administrators are able to update their own details.
Berkshire RFU
Berkshire RFU is reponsible for rugby in Berkshire - working with clubs, schools & further education and other partners, such as, the RFU and London Irish Academy.
The new website will become a comprehensive information resource and communication vehicle across the whole spectrum of rugby activity. From supporting schools to introduce rugby to their pupils, to aiding rugby clubs to develop their facilities, coaching and refereeing qualifications, club administration and child welfare, to running club and school competitions, and producing county squads from Under 13 to Under 20 (boys and girls) plus an adult county side.
Over fifty dedicated volunteers enable Berkshire RFU to function and it is crucial that effective communication is achieved with all the players, teachers, club officials, parents, media, sponsors and supporters of the 80 rugby-playing schools and the 15 main rugby clubs in the county
The Royal Caledonian Curling Club
The Royal Caledonian Curling Club’s new website goes live this weekend just in time for the Scottish Highlights in the Winter Olympics.
RCCC have been a client of ours for the last 4 years and have decided not only for us to re-design their web site but also implement our Membership Management System which will be handed over for training at the end of February.
National Rounders AssociationWe are delighted to have been working with the National Rounder Association over the last 3 years. Sussex Society of Rugby Union Referees
Sussex Society for Rugby referees has selected SportFocus to implement their web based Membership System and new website.
Phil Holley of the Sussex Rugby Referees Society said......."Like many committees, the Sussex Rugby Referees Society is run by a collection of individuals who work and have many demands on their time. With the countrywide drive to recruit more referees, the Society was getting enquiries via their existing website and a training a large number of potential referees doing the entry level course.
These people’s details were kept on Excel spreadsheets by each of the committee members responsible and it was increasingly difficult to maintain and reconcile these separate listings. In addition the almost universal usage of email for communication required the setting up and maintaining of separate email address list for differing referee levels For example producing an email list of all referees with more than 3 years experience.
We looked at companies providing membership database systems and requested further details from several. We were impressed by SportFocus firstly because they specialise in sporting organisations and understand exactly what we required but also with their prompt response in dealing requests for information.
Getting SportFocus to build and maintain our website database will make administration of the Referees Society much easier, ten times more efficient and gives us the flexibility we need to focus our efforts on training and supporting new and existing members."
Disability Sport EventsDSE needed a new web site to help promote their sporting events and raise funding through sponsorship. This site covers their main 10 sports with a wealth of information on each, ranging from Description, Rules, Entry Forms, Results etc. DSE do not receive any funding from the National Lottery, they raise the whole of their operating budget from sponsorship so the site is really important to them.
Grand National Archery Society
Launched on the 17th January 05 and giving the Grand National Archery Society full control over content management.
The new environment now gives all of their affiliated clubs the ability to ‘self publish’ information on their club; add their own news and event information. As an example see the listing for Clophill Archery Club.
BADMINTON England
The New Year has got off to a great start as BADMINTON England today announces a new long term strategic partnership following the agreement signed with SportFocus to provide a range of new and exciting software solutions capable of making a significant difference to the sport.
Chief Executive Adrian Christy said, “The software industry is a very complex one and the search to identify a company with an existing product range as well as one that has the ambition to develop new products that can support our growing business needs has been exhaustive.

The partnership will see SportFocus provide BADMINTON England with a new Membership and Communication System as well as a range of products to support tournaments and competitions and other key business software.

Work on implementing the system for BADMINTON England is already underway and many of the new software products, including the new Membership System, are scheduled to be in place at the start of the 2009/10 season.

Windsor Rugby ClubLaunched at the end of January 04. Windsor Rugby Club awarded the contract to SportFocus rather than go down the route offered by the RFU. The reason being they wanted all age groups and all teams to share equal status and effectively have their own site to promote themselves and generate sponsorship revenues. Within the first week of going live the sponsorship revenues started to flow and the sales from their Kit Shop have increased substantially. Website
Impulse LeisureImpulse Leisure offers an impressive array of facilities and activities - including 3 leisure centres, an 18 hole golf course and an entertainments venue located within Thurrock, Essex and 2 leisure centres and a community pool located within Shoreham-on-Sea and Lancing in West Sussex. SportFocus were selected to replace their old website as they wanted a system that had a good content management system so they could control their content in-house. Website
International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation
SportFocus has been working with a number of National Disability Sports organisations for the last 6 years and is delighted to announce our latest client the International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS).
This week we have signed a 5 year contract to implement a comprehensive web based Sports Administration System, at the heart of this will be our Membership Management System to enable them to collect Member details from around the world. Integrated to this will be our Events Management Module which will be used to assist in the administration of their International Games programme and Courses.
At the front end will be a new website that will better reflect provide comprehensive information ranging from Events and News and also provide the platform to allow Member Organisation to enter Competitors for up and coming games and other events.

Scottish Disability SportAs is often the case with fate....shortly after launching the Disabilty Sport England site we were approached by Scottish Disability Sport who wanted a similar site from a functionality perspective. This site was designed and developed for them within 3 weeks and all their initial content loaded. Website
