BADMINTON England Secures New Partner
6th January 2009
by Peter Atkinson
The New Year has got off to a great start as BADMINTON England today announces a new long term strategic partnership following the agreement signed with SportFocus to provide a range of new and exciting software solutions capable of making a significant difference to the sport.
Chief Executive Adrian Christy said, “The software industry is a very complex one and the search to identify a company with an existing product range as well as one that has the ambition to develop new products that can support our growing business needs has been exhaustive.
I am therefore delighted to have agreed this partnership with SportFocus who not only understand sport, but also have a great feel for our organisational need as well as those of our County Associations, Leagues, Clubs, Coaches and Members.
In addition to the understanding though, one key factor in our decision to appoint SportFocus was the ease and simplicity of the design and use of their products. Many of these will be available at all levels of the game and it is imperative that any club or member using them can do so quickly and easily.”
The partnership will see SportFocus provide BADMINTON England with a new Membership and Communication System as well as a range of products to support tournaments and competitions and other key business software.
SportFocus Chief Executive, Peter Atkinson said “We are absolutely delighted to have been selected by BADMINTON England. This truly now demonstrates our position as a market leader in the sports sector for the provision of CRM and ‘Integrated Solutions’ for the management and administration of sport.
We are delighted that BADMINTON England joins the growing number of UK sports clients, all benefiting from our comprehensive web based Sports Administration Systems that include a Membership Management System, integrated Events / Competitions Management, League Management, Grading and Ranking System and Survey Management Systems.”
Work on implementing the system for BADMINTON England is already underway and many of the new software products, including the new Membership System, are scheduled to be in place at the start of the 2009/10 season.
