Event Management Overview

The Events Module is an on-line system for entering multiple event types and is completely integrated into the SportFocus Membership Module. So when you enter your Membership ID onto the form it will auto populate any relevant information from the database. Also any information, which is not held, will become populated into the database thus growing member profile information.

The SportFocus Events module allows you to record full details of any event (courses, competitions, training sessions etc.) The Database also holds associated details such as officials, venues, trainers……... A history of all events is kept by the system. 

You can also see the attendee's attendance history (showing events previously attended and any cancellations) and financial history.

If an attendee or official needs to be changed at the last minute, this can be done with a minimum of effort.

Every aspect of planning an event, programme or course can be managed and administered using our events module. And because the system is based online, you can simply login, enter a few details, and have your event up and running with the minimum of fuss.

Once the event has been created members can enter on-line and they can be sent acknowledgements and entry packs if necessary. Having completed the course their record will again be updated to state the level attained.

You can produce a wide range of reports, queries and mail merges using the Reporting facilities.
 
The event manager product currently incorporates 4 things:

Form Builder

This product makes it easy to create online forms which can be stand alone, or linked to the SportFocus membership management system.  The forms can be used for both competitions and courses, and we are also currently working on a ‘survey’ module.  The forms can be used just once, or if you have a standard form, it can be created once and used many times.

Competitions

Create competitions, inputting dates, times, number of entries allowed, closing date for applications.  You can specify whether a competition is open to all, or for members only, thus requiring a log in. 

Courses

Create course, and then enter course dates when that course is being run; enter venue and trainer information, number of places available, closing date for applications.  Set rules for notification when there are only a certain number of places left so you can consider a larger venue.

eCommerce

The facility to allow on-line payments via credit or debit card for any event entry.
