Thames FixEx is sponsored by Berkshire County RFU and has been developed in partnership with SportFocus , the leading supplier of sports management solutions. SportFocus's clients include Berkshire County RFU, Buckinghamshire County RFU , Windsor RFC, Badminton England, Canoe England, Amateur Boxing Association , Golf Club Managers Association, England Rounders, Archery GB etc.
Berkshire County RFU has developed this service in response to requests from rugby clubs in the region as part of its role of supporting the development of rugby playing opportunities in the area. We are grateful for the support of Sport England who has awarded a grant towards this project and other exciting online initiatives.
Thames FixEx aims to assist local rugby clubs arrange ad-hoc fixtures and tournaments in the Thames Valley region. There is a section called Find a Member Club which lists the rugby clubs that have been invited to participate in this service. Thames FixEx went live on 1st January 2010. We are currently working on increasing the functionality so that users by type (e.g. Seniors Fixtures Secretaries) will receive an email alert when a relevant fixture is posted (e.g. senior fixture). In addition, there will be the ability to find a fixtures secretary - and the scope is to be expanded to include youth rugby and women and girls. We will also separate up and coming fixtures from past fixtures and show which of the past fixtures resulted in a match.
If a club is interested in accepting a fixture or enter a tournament from the list of Fixtures Required, click on the date and contact the relevant fixtures secretary by email or telephone to discuss. If the fixture/ tournament entry is agreed, the host fixture secretary will then amend the Notes section to confirm acceptance.

The Thames FixEx service for fixtures in the January to April 2010 period is FREE. The first annual subscription of £20 payable to ‘Berkshire County RFU’ covers the period May 2010 to April 2011. Please use the Subscription Form that can be downloaded by clicking here.
