Archery GB has enjoyed another big triumph on the international stage, as British archers topped the medals table and returned home with three gold’s from the third and final leg of the Europa Cup series, which took place at Lviv in Ukraine.

In all, Britain featured in the medals in seven events, and had 13 medallists. Leading the way were Tom Barber and Matt Arnold, who won gold’s in the recurve junior and compound junior respectively. The recurve junior men's team of Barber, Glen Croft and Eddie Spouge also took gold.

There were silver medals in the recurve cadet men's championship for James Mortlock, and for Rosie Smith in the compound cadet women. The cadet compound men's team of Jake Bunce, Matt Rudge and Matt Gardner also took a silver medal, while the recurve cadet men's team of Mortlock, Sean Evans and Alec Wheeler won the bronze.

To add to those success, Barber and Arnold were the overall Europa Cup winners in their categories - recurve junior and compound junior respectively - after all three legs of the series, while Rosie Smith, in the compound cadet division, was second.

"It's been another great result for our young archers, and for British archery overall," said delighted team manager Barry Eley. "I'm really proud of them all, not just the medal winners, but the whole squad, who've been magnificent, not just in Lviv, but also in the whole series."
