Great Britain’s wheelchair curlers fell short of the medal stages on the last day of round-robin play in Vancouver.

Giving up a score of three in the opening end was a mountain to climb for the British team in a must-win game against Italy. They never really recovered from that blow, and eventually went down by 3-6 to finally go out of contention.

Later, they scored six points with no reply in the first half of their last game, against Japan, to give themselves the consolation of a 10-4 win over Japan to record just their third win from the campaign.
