Windsor U15's travelled to Chobham and despite waiting for their opponents to arrive put in an excellent performance. Windsor kicked off and within 3 minutes Sal had run in our first try. Both sets of forwards contested equally for the next ten minutes, until Windsor eventually got the upper hand, and a series of 6 passes saw our winger Mat blast over for our second score (dislocating his shoulder in the process). Chobham spent the next 10 minutes in Windsor's half, but Windsor defended well, forcing a 5-metre scrum. Windsor conceded a penalty for obstruction, but drove Chobham back a further 5 metres before the maul collapsed and conceding another penalty. Chobham kicked for touch but Windsor contested well at the line out winning a scrum. Windsor cleared deep into Chobham's half pushing them back to there own 5-metre line. Turning over their scrum Luke A burst through the defence to put the score Chobham 0-15 Windsor at half time.
Chobham took the restart but Windsor again applied the pressure. 10 metres out from the Chobham line Windsor's forwards set up there captain Jack with the next try and the conversion by Will. Chobham came straight back forcing a knock-on on Windsor's 10-metre line. From the scrum they had several attempts at breeching the Windsor defence, but eventually got a try in the corner. For the next 10 minutes the ball went back and forth between the two teams until Bryn chipped over the defence for Jono to chip on, and dive on for the try. Windsor took the restart, but Chobham forced them back to within 20 metres of there try line. The game was getting more and more niggled, and Stuart was sent off for 10 minutes for stamping. From the penalty Chobham's forwards drove forward 3 times before the try being awarded (despite Windsor's objections, as they believed it had been held up). Windsor took the restart and again Chobham drove them back into there own half. Chobham came in from the side of a ruck on Windsor's 10-metre line, Bryn punted the penalty for a Windsor line out on Chobham's 5-metre line. Windsor lost the line out and a penalty was awarded against them as they wandered offside. Jono intercepted the pass from the penalty made several yds and popped the ball to Lee to drive over the try line. The conversion was taken by Bryn. Chobham again came back at Windsor, forcing a knock-on 10 metres from Windsor's try line. Windsor turned over the scrum and fired the ball back towards the Chobham end. Yet another penalty was awarded against Chobham, and Windsor kicked it into touch.
