A little about myself:
My name is Sue and I run a Majorette Troupe in Liverpool. Earlier this year I merged with another Troupe who had recently folded due to lack of funds, and as I had received almost £5,000 in funding I thought I would give it a go, but almost from the off I knew I had made the biggest mistake so far. It wasnt the way I wanted Majorettes to be with some of the younger ones getting shouted at and being upset so I decided to pull out.
A lot of the girls went with the other Troupe and also took with them all the uniforms track-suits batons training kits and everything else that the funding money paid for, but with the girls who stayed with me I am trying to get funding to-gether again. If I thought it was difficult the first time then it's virtually impossible the second time because people assume that I still have money from the first lot of funding, but I will carry on and hope that somebody reading this can point me in the right direction as we are in desperate need of uniforms and equipment for next year otherwise we canr continue which would be a shame.
Also with all the letters I have written to supermarkets asking to do a bag-pack (and enlosed an s.a.e.) why do'nt they ever reply?? well enough of my moaning I'm going back on the web to look for funding. Speak again soon
