Maldon & District Cycling Club (MAD CC) was founded in 1953 as Crouch CC. It is based in Maldon, Essex and caters for cyclists of all abilities, ages and cycling interests. Current membership stands at 110, and new members are always welcome.
Maldon HQ: The club meets on Monday evenings at 8pm at the United Reformed Church, Market Hill, Maldon for a social evening. As well as a chat and a cup of tea various events are organised, including talks on training, massage sessions, and events for the children, such as the Scalextric evening. Steeple HQ: The Tuesday evening time-trials, and some weekend events are run from the club's cycling headquarters, the 'Star' public house in the village of Steeple.
