About Us
The British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) is a registered charity and is financed only by membership subscriptions, donations and with the help of almost 200 volunteers. We provide all our members with the chance to meet useful yoga contacts and to make new friends in yoga.
More formally, our objectives are stated in Article 2 of our Constitution as: a) to encourage and help all persons to a greater knowledge and understanding of all aspects of yoga and its practice by the provision of study, education and training b) to maintain and improve the standard of teaching c) to co-operate with and support other organisations having similar aims
At our Central Office we handle all day-to-day administration. including membership. The Central Office can supply yoga literature and information while BWY Services carries supplies such as yoga mats, clothing, books, tapes and videos.
Membership If you would like to be a member of Britains largest yoga organisation please join us. You can ask Central Office for a special information pack which costs £4.50. Should you decide to join BWY within 3 months, this amount will be deducted from your first year's subscription. Please contact Central Office for further details.
