The North West region has a variety of water from the extensive canal network to the spate rivers of North Lancashire. Much of our whitewater paddling is done in the neighbouring areas of the Lakes and Wales. There is an active club scene in the NW with most clubs being touring and recreational based, however we have several very active clubs in Marathon, Slalom, Polo and Wild Water Racing. One of the main aims of the committee this year is to improve access to water within the region and to strengthen the network of access officers. The regional committee owns several fleets of boats and trailers for hire to clubs including; Mirages, Poly Pippins, Wavehoppers, Polo Boats and a couple of rodeo boats.
