The club is mainly a whitewater club, non-competitive and we aim to encourage people to feel safe and confident in a whitewater environment. As such we try to get as many people as possible to do the British Canoe Union Beginners and Intermediate Certificates. To this end, we encourage members to attend the recognised training courses run by CANI or Tollymore Mountain Centre.
The club organises, pool sessions, river trips and details are available from Mike Totten our events organiser. The Club is affiliated to CANI BCUNI/477/club/2002.
New members are always welcome. We are an informal group of enthusiasts - all are welcome.
