In 1973 a group of like minded curling enthusiasts got together and 
       formed Torness Curling Club to foster curling locally, compete on ice between
   themselves and against other clubs in Inverness Province and National competitions.

      Today, all the original club objectives are being healthily maintained with three 
      club competitions - league, club knockout and club pairs.  Torness CC participates
      in the Province League with a team in each of three out of five divisions as well
      as in the the Seniors League.  Four Bonspiels are being competed in this season as
      well as the Distict Medal and RCCC Championships.               
Finally, there is the Dalcross League in which Torness CC has two teams.
    
     
      If you are interested in curling or think you might enjoy trying this winter sport    
     Torness Curling Club is where you will be afforded the opportunity, be taught,
     supported and encouraged in a friendly environment.
