The City Hoops Basketball Programme is a charitable organisation, based on Merseside,that enables any person from the age of 6 years to have the opportunity to participate in the sport of basketball and help them to achieve success at their chosen level.
This will be achieved by the following:
- Regular, affordable training sessions for young persons of all abilities.
- Quality coaching by EBBA* approved coaches.
- Structured training programmes to EBBA* Standards.
- Progression through mini/junior age group training programmes.
- Training of coaches through development of the club.
- Development of teams to compete against others of same age/ability.
- Sharing of knowledge/experience with other clubs.
The aims of the club to reviewed with trainees, parents and Local Authority Sports Development Officers every 12 months.
