Whatever standard of cricket you play, there is a team to suit you at Old Bristolians Westbury. Contact Us for more information or just turn up at training on a Tuesday or Thursday.
On Saturdays the Club usually turns out four teams. The top two teams in the Club play in the best league in the South West area: The West of England Club Cricket Championship. The 1st XI will play the 2004 season in Premier Division 2, and the 2nd XI are in the corresponding league for 2nd XI teams.
The 3rd and 4th XI's are also play competitive cricket in the North Somerset League (Divisions 3 and 4 respectively) with the emphasis firmly on good fun and youth development.
Women's Cricket
OBWCC is one of the first clubs in the Bristol area to set up a ladies section. Training takes place at the ground on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 after Easter, coaching being provided by Glynnie, Tim and Leo. If you are interested, or you know someone who might be, get in touch with Kate Palmer.
Youth Cricket
The Club runs a highly successful Youth section and organises Cricket for 7-year-olds up to Under 17's. A season rarely passes without significant success in either league or cup competitions. If you're interested in getting involved, contact our Youth Cricket Coordinator, Bob Stirratt
Training Sessions
These are held at the Ground on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.30pm. New players and old faces alike are all encouraged to come along for some practice and training.
We also now posess a bowling machine to help brush up your technique.
