Burntwood Archers is a target archery club with a membership of 35 members including a junior club - Burntwood Juniors. The club has a number of experienced archers who have been very successful in GNAS and NFAS competitions. The current Chairman is the Essex Indoor Champion. Burntwood Archers also cater for people who undertake archery as a leisure time activity. Training courses for beginners are run throughout the year by experienced archers. New members are permitted to use club bows for six months after joining until they are ready to purchase their own equipment. The club enjoys facilities at Shenfield School which are second to none: two indoor sessions are available in the winter and outdoor sessions are available all year round.
