About Us Our outdoor venue is at Barleylands farm in Billericay. We have access to our two fields, seven days a week with Club days being Wednesday evening, Saturday and Sunday. Our Junior Club meets Saturday afternoons between 3.30pm and 5.30pm under the guidance of our club coaches. During the warmer weather, you will generally find some members shooting at the field most evenings during the week. Our indoor venue for October to March is at Mayflower School in Billericay. Club nights are Fridays from 7pm - 10pm and we do hold regular coaching clinics and beginner courses at this venue on certain Saturdays throughout the year.
Established in 1988, Mayflower Archers has grown to be one of the largest archery clubs in Essex. We have access to our own outdoor shooting ground that is available seven days a week and a gymnasium and sports hall for winter shooting at Mayflower School. Our archers have the support of a qualified coaching team and many experienced archers that have shot at National and International levels.
We cater for all archers, both experienced and those that have never picked up a bow before, from the age of 10 upwards. Archery is a family sport and we are fortunate to have a number of family members within the club that makes for a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

Mayflower Juniors
Mayflower Juniors took their name from the Mayflower School in Billericay when it was formed in the 1990's by founder member Ken Gray. Ken's first members were drawn from children of adult members of Mayflower Archers and with its ever increasing popularity, the group soon established an enviable reputation. Before long, the club was opened to youngsters from all over Essex. Today, Mayflower Juniors enjoy outstanding countywide success at the annual Junior County Championships.
