The club was formed in 1978 out of the ashes of the Bishops Castle Archery Club, our membership is approximately 80 + Seniors and Juniors. We have County and Olympic archers within our ranks including Alison Williamson Olympic Bronze Medalist.
In the Summer months the club is based at New House Farm Church Stretton (April - October) in October we go to our indoor venue at the William Brookes School Much Wenlock.
Beginners courses are run at both venues by qualified GNAS Coaches.
We host open competitions during the year, our main one lasting over 4 days with archers coming from all over the Country and abroad.
Long Mynd Archers is the first club within GNAS to obtain Sport England Clubmark accreditation.
