The Beacon Rouleur CycloSportive

All routes on this cyclosportive travel up the iconic climb of Ditchling Beacon as well as the urban climb of Bear Road in Brighton. The three routes are :- The Classic Route 93 miles The Challenge Route 74 miles The Tour Route 57miles Unlike many cycling events the Beacon Climb comes at the beginning of all three routes, where fresh legs should find climbing the mile long Beacon climb much easier. The Beacon Rouleur is a fun non competitive mass cycling event for everybody to enjoy. Some training is recommended to make things easier, but it is not a race. it is open to everybody that has a bicycle. Although a non competitive event, riders are electronically timed for their own personal challenge goals. All riders will be awarded certificates for finishing with their time and award category listed on the certificate. Certificates can be downloaded after the event. Feed stations around the routes of the Beacon Rouleur Cyclosportive make sure all riders have ample energy to enjoy the ride which is based in the wonderful countryside of Sussex. All riders receive a free Continental Race 24 inner tube worth £5.99 when they take part in this event. Free food is available at the finish as well for all entrants. This event is part of the popular SRS Events Cyclosportive series which produces great cycling events each month in Sussex.
