British Water Skiers on the Podium Yet Again
9th July 2002Canadian water skier Drew Ross managed to overcome the assault of the British water skiers at the French Masters, one of water skiing’s grand slam events. A trio of skiers from the Lottery backed British squad qualified for the slalom final in 2nd= place but it was Ross who set an early pace with a score of 5.50 buoys on the same 10.75 metre rope length. Fresh from a new European Jump Record of 67.8 metres the previous weekend
Once again British skiers dominated the podium at one of the sport’s major titled events.
