Revised schedule for ICC Women’s World Cup 2013

The International Cricket Council have announced the revised schedule for the ICC Women’s World Cup India 2013.

England Women will continue to be based in Mumbai for warm-up matches and the group stages of the tournament, travelling to Cuttack to play either Pakistan or South Africa depending on qualification for the super six stage.

England will play two warm up games against South Africa at the Cricket Club of India and New Zealand at the Bandra Kurlra Complex on the 28th and 29th January respectively.

Super Six Stage
Provided they qualify, each of the top three teams will retain its ranking from the group stage through to the Super Sixes, regardless of their finishing position in the group. For example, England will be ranked A1 whether they finish first, second or third at the end of the group stage. If the fourth ranked team in a group qualifies for the Super Six stage, they will adopt the ranking of the team that they have replaced.
