Dan Redfern penalised under ECB Discipline Code
28th April 2013The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today confirmed that Dan Redfern has received a penalty under the ECB’s discipline code.
During Derbyshire’s LV= County Championship match against Middlesex on 17-20 April 2013, Redfern was reported by Mark Benson and Peter Hartley for a Level One breach of the code (showing dissent at Umpire’s decision by word or action).
The penalty for this offence is a reprimand. This penalty will remain on his record for a period of two years and the accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two year period will result in an automatic suspension.
