Welcome to Windsor RFC
Our 1st team plays in the Powergen South West league that in recent years has become stronger and harder. Next season sees us playing sides such as Marlow, Aylesbury, Oakmeadians, Wimborne, Amersham & Chiltern, Chippenham, Ivel Barbarians, Salisbury, Oxford Harlequins and Reading Abbey. Our 2nds, 3rds & 4ths continue to take part in the every growing Thames Valley League.Underneath this is an extremely strong Youth section that numbers well over 350 players from under 7s up to the Colts squad. Playing at Home Park with the backdrop of Windsor Castle and over 50 qualified coaches is difficult to beat!
Windsor Rugby is committed to forging concrete links between local schools via the Active Sports programme. We are providing set training sessions for school children in Years five to eight, at four middle schools and also at the Club to encourage them to participate in this great game.
Windsor Rugby has recently been awarded the RFU Seal of Approval - only the third rugby club in Berkshire to achieve this prestigious award.
On the social side, during the closed season we embarked upon a major refurbishment of the clubhouse that will improve both the playing and social aspects of the club. The new clubhouse will be ready for business at the start of the 2004/5 season.
