The archery section has been established at the Holbrook Club* for many years, and has produced archers who have been selected at both County and International level.  All interested are very welcome, from total beginners to experienced archers with their own equipment.

We have a number of qualified coaches who run courses for beginners, and give advice and tuition on an on-going basis.  Beginners courses offer 5-6 hours of tuition and cost in the region  of £30.  We supply everything you need for the course and afterwards until you're ready to buy your own equipment.

We shoot on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.  April-October we shoot outdoors, November-March we use the indoor range.
 
Interested in competition?  We run a team in the Sussex County Albion League in Summer, and 2 teams in the British Archer (indoor) Portsmouth League in Winter.  Anyone with their own equipment can take part.  Throughout the year, members of the section shoot in external tournaments, mainly in Sussex, where they meet dozens of archers from other clubs around the County.
 
If you’re over 16 (there’s no upper age limit!) and any of the above sounds interesting, why not give it a try? The Holbrook Club is an open club that offers a number of sports and social facilities.
