Great Britain's footballers may have had to cut short their Christmas celebrations to leave home for the Melbourne Deaflympics on Boxing Day, but the GB Men served up a real feast against Turkey on Tuesday, winning their quarter-final 4-1.
Two goals for Derby's Alistair Dalziel and two more for East Preston striker Lee Farrell sealed victory for Great Britain.
Dalziel scored on 16 minutes and again a minute from the interval to bring his personal tally for the tournament to four goals and give Great Britain a 2-0 lead at half time.
Two more goals in the space of five minutes from Farrell midway through the second half put the seal on a famous Great Britain victory, and although Turkey got one back it was not enough to stop the Great Britain men from advancing to the semi-finals on Thursday.
Farrell's brace maintains his position as joint top goalscorer for the tournament on eight goals.
Thurdays semi-final will be against old football rivals Germany.
