Bucks Girls win National U17 Championships

Bucks Under 17's won the National Round of the under 17 Girls County Championships 2007. This years finals were held at Bournemouth Hockey Club.
The Hockey Association are extremely pleased with this result and feel that it is a very positive reflection of their development programme over the last 8 years!
Terry Cook from Bucks Hockey Association said 'The joy for me, was that every other strong County there were using 10 plus players all from the same club eg Derbyshire- Belper, Devon- Isca Dragons, Essex- Chelmsford whereas Bucks drew from 9 different schools and 7 different clubs, so it was not a squad of players who have been coached together week in and week out, but clearly Steve Jack as coach brought them together as a squad, and motivated them to play as a team!'
