British Handball has announced that it has entered into an agreement with the provider of the England Handball website, SportFocus.

The new 4 year partnership will see the company develop a new portal for British Handball which will provide a one stop source of handball information with a new Membership Management system, League Management and Event/Courses systems.

Paul Goodwin, General Manager of the British Handball Association said 'we have to find innovative, cost effective and efficient methods of working in order to provide timely and accurate information and services to our members and to support the every growing interest in handball'

"SportFocus have a proven suite of products which will provide many of the back office functions, allowing us to grow our business within our existing budget, whilst improving the service we provide to our members. It will dramatically assist in the overall administration of the sport in the run up to 2012"

Peter Atkinson, CEO of SportFocus said: "We will be providing an open architecture to allow integration of contact and membership data with web sites and other Web driven applications, to open up the opportunities of truly integrated working for Handball."

SportFocus will provide handball with a comprehensive range of additional modules, which are integrated with the Membership Management System in order to maximise the benefits of a single database.

Data will be fed seamlessly between modules ensuring that information is only updated once and used many times.  Feeding information from the website and other modules allows an organisation to build up a full picture of their relationship with individuals and use this information to drive ongoing campaigns and marketing efforts in a more targeted and efficient manner.
