All four BTTF players successfully made it out of the preliminary rounds, with Adam Robertson having the best performance to win his group and advance directly to round 3. Paul Drinkhall, Joanna Parker and Kelly Sibley all managed to secure second place which means that they will progress to round 2.

Paul Drinkhall will face Alfredo Carneros of Spain, but the opponents for the rest of the squad are yet to be finalised.
