Nationwide agree to support Regional Swimming

DSE is pleased to announce that Nationwide have agreed to fund the Regional Swimming galas for a year. This comes as great news, following the diminishing corporate support for DSE swimming events.
Although we at DSE heard the news last month, there was an official announcement at the National Junior Swimming Championships in Sheffield last weekend. It finished off a fantastic event in an even more positive light, with 6 World, 2 European and over 100 National records broken during the weekend.
Regions and Home Countries were increasingly worried how their well-established swimming programmes would continue without any financial support. Now they can continue their good work and develop more disability swimming talent.
Nationwide have been sponsoring the Junior Sports Awards for 2 years now and launched the third year at the Junior Swimming event. These entitle the winners to receive bursaries to help develop their talent. Nationwide also support our classification clinics, which will encourage more Physios and volunteers to learn more about the DSE Profiling system.
