Vicotry to Braehead Rink

The inaugural Scottish Wheelchair Curling Championships, held at the Forest
Hills Hotel, Aberfoyle ended with victory for the Braehead rink skipped by
Alex Harvey. Alex, along with team mates Michael McCreadie, David Telfer
and Paul Webster fought off stiff competition from five other teams to
finish two points ahead of the Kinross rink of Allan Spence. Murray Cran,
Evelyn Neave and skip, Frank Duffy. The Rhona Martin Trophy was presented
to the winning team and Jackie Lockhart was in attendance to present her
sportsmanship trophy to Frank Duffy.

The Championships were coordinated in partnership between SDS and the Royal
Caledonian Curling Club and sponsored by Royal Mail through the Ready
Willing and Able for Sport programme. Full results from the Championships
