Two of Scotland's talented young wheelchair rugby players will be travelling to Germany with the Great Britain Development Squad to compete in the Bernd-Best Tournament. Both Struan Kerr-Liddell and Michael Kerr play for the Scottish Wildcats team based in Falkirk.
Struan, is the Wildcats club captain and has played for the team since October 2000. The 26-year old from Edinburgh was selected for the GB Development squad in November 2002 and has also reached the latter stages of GB Trials early in 2003, making the 20 man squad but just missing out on the final 12 man squad. Struan is a 0.5 point player.
Michael is a 1.5 point player and hails from Uddingston. At only 20 years of age Michael has been involved with the Wildcats since September 2001. Michael also joined the GB Development squad in November 2002.
Both players are travelling to Cologne, Germany for the Bernd-Best Wheelchair Rugby Tournament from 10 – 13 April 2003. The GB team will be competing in the tournaments second division.
