On May 27th the Basingstoke Aquadrome celebrated its first full year of operation.
The Aquadrome has proven to be a great local and region success during its first 12 months and has recorded the following statistics: -
* Over 299,000 swimmers
* Over 80,000 people had separate workouts
* Over 25,000 people attended Aerobics Classes
* Over 3,700 children have attended swimming lessons
* Has created over 100 new jobs
* The busiest day saw over 2,000 swimmers
* Over 3,600 Babies have splashed in our pools
* Over 500 pupils for 18 schools have attended school swimming lessons
* Over 450 children have celebrate their Birthdays at the Aquadrome
