Kenny Herriot travelled out to Long Island, USA to compete in the Nick Katsounis Memorial Wheelchair 10K. We are delighted to report that Kenny came in 3rd in a time of 22 mins 24 secs. Just a little outside the course record for Long Island of 21m57 (Masters category) but beat his previous best set in Manchester by a further 1m14, which was the Scottish record.

There were 75 athletes, 11 Masters. Conditions were good with a very fast flat course; the 4 very tight turns only added to the atmosphere. Temperature at 8.00 a.m. when Kenny set off were high 90's.
Kenny is now moving on to Atlanta.
