Elliott Announces Side for Tour Opener

14th July 2003

The BARLA Great Britain Young Lions Manager Joe Elliott has announced his side for the opening game of the Damart sponsored tour of New Zealand.

The BARLA youngsters take on a City United Representative side tomorrow and the Young Lions Management have named a strong looking team in the hope that they can get off to a winning start on the four-match tour.

Elliott said, "All the squad have trained really well so it was a difficult task for Ian (Rudd) to select the side. The performance in our opening game is important as it sets us up for the remaining games."
