Windsor Under 8's travelled to Henley on Sunday morning to face their arch rivals in one of the expected clashes of the season.
 
Henley A were obviously "up" for the match with Windsor. However, despite a bright opening few minutes and an early couple of scores, they were unable to stop Windsor gradually applying a stranglehold on the game and the Home Park team eventually ran out clear winners by 40 points to 20.  Once again showing maturity way beyond their years, Windsor A totally outgunned a high quality opposition with the defence once again stifling the Henley attack into making critical errors. This, together with excellent team work, good running  and passing turned the match Windsor's way.
 
At the same time, the Windsor B team continued their dramatic improvement with an excellent 20 points to 5 win over Henley B.  Special mention goes to the dedicated B team coaching staff who have transformed this team into a formidable outfit based on solid defence used as the springboard to success.
 
Both teams look forward with confidence to the fast approaching tournament season with the visit to Marlow (another close rival) in 2 weeks, the final preparation before the trophy hunting begins.
