Attractive heathland course with 10 par 4s and 8 par 3s. The 4th/13th hole is one of the best par 3s in the area. Free draining and rarely affected by adverse weather. Friendly atmosphere
Established in 1895, on Torrington Common, the course has changed little since golf was first played here. Although short the course is very tight and supplies some very interesting holes all of which afford stunning views over the countryside and the valley below with the river Torridge running through. If you have enough time after your game, a walk through the valley below tracing the steps of Tarka the Otter should not be missed.
