This excellently maintained course was founded in 1894 and is located 4 miles west of Evesham town centre on the A44. As you climb the rise in the road after the Wood Norton hotel, the course and clubhouse are 200 metres on the left, BUT the carpark is on the righthand side.
We are a 9 hole course with 18 tees, par 72 (CSS 71) and is considered by many players as one of the finest tests of golf within the Midlands, with the club regularly hosting Worcestershire County PGA events.The layout of the course is essentially parkland and 2 of the holes run parallel with the River Avon giving superb views to the Bredon and Malvern escarpments.
The mens course is 6400 yards in length off the white tees and 6178 from the yellow tees. Ladies play 5697 yards with a par of 74.
The clubhouse has recently been refurbished to a high standard, providing a relaxing lounge and bar area with an adjacent dining facility. Catering under the supervision of our Club Steward, Tessa Byrne, is renowned for the quality and quantity of the food served on all days except Monday and the normal catering hours are 12.00 until 14.00 at lunchtime and 16.30 until 21.00 in the evenings.
