About Us
With two grass courts, four floodlit all-weather courts, and a character wooden clubhouse, Mannamead has some of the best tennis facilities in Plymouth.
Mannamead LTC is also one of Plymouth’s oldest tennis clubs. The club was established about 100 years ago, although our earliest records were destroyed by fire.
Membership
Membership is open to players of all abilities and all ages, although absolute beginners are encouraged to come along to coaching sessions run by the club before playing in general club play.
Current membership numbers about 70, plus social and family members.
Full membership, including LTA registration fee costs £120, but reduced rates are offered to full-time students, juniors and members living more than a certain distance out of Plymouth and to families.
University of Plymouth students have an arrangement which lets them use the courts during the daytime for a fixed fee, with full club membership for a small extra payment
