Fairview Farm Stud and Riding School is a local authority licensed riding school offering general riding lessons for all ages and abilities, including beginner through to advanced.
With over 30 years experience and instructors competing professionally in show-jumping, dressage and cross country we have the expertise available to meet your needs at which ever level you are riding.
We also offer livery services and a range of quality homebred and imported horses and ponies for sale.
At Fairview Farm we pride ourselves on being able to offer a wide range of lessons to suit both individual and group requirements.
Riding School
We have excellent facilities available including a 20m x 40m dressage arena a 20m x 40m general school and a 40m x 40m jumping field with a full set of show jumps.Two of the schools are floodlit for use when the nights get shorter and we also have working hunter course, which is set up in one of our paddocks and incorperates a number of permanent obsticles.
The school is open 6 days a week and closed on Mondays (Horsey day of rest)
Normal opening hours are as follows:
Monday Closed
Tuesday 9.00 till 8.00
Wednesday 9.00 till 8.00
Thursday 9.00 till 8.00
Friday 9.00 till 6.00
Saturday 9.00 till 6.00
Sunday 9.00 till 5.00
Lesson prices are
1 hour group £15.00
1/2 hour group £10.00
1 hour shared private £18.00
1 hour private £26.00
1/2 hour private £15.00
We also run an all day scheme available weekends and holiday periods. For just £20.00 children can come to the yard from 10am till 4pm have an hours group riding lesson and learn about looking after and owning ponies by helping out around the yard.
