The British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association represents and supports the UK's free flight community From it's Leicester headquarters it oversees pilot and instructor training standards, provides, technical support such as airworthiness standards, runs coaching courses for pilots... and a host of other services, providing the infrastructure within which UK hang gliding and paragliding thrive. As well as providing automatic third parity insurance for Its members it also owns its own insurance company, Airsports, offering flying and non-flying cover to members and non-members alike. And it publishes the monthly magazine, Skywings, the worlds leading English-language hang gliding and paragliding publication.
