The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) is the governing body for tennis in Great Britain. Its mission is to make Britain a great tennis nation by growing the sport throughout the country at all levels, from the grass roots of the game to achieving success on the international stage.
In addition to raising participation and performance, particularly at junior level, The LTA selects the teams that compete for Great Britain, assists in the running of over 2000 tournaments, and in partnership with The All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, stage The Championships at Wimbledon.
