Shore Surf are based in St Ives Bay, West Cornwall and provide a safe, relaxed and affordable introduction to surfing.
With over 35 years of experience between them, our instructors, Laurence and Pete, offer you a unique surfing experience in a safe and friendly environment.
All equipment, surfboards and wetsuits are included and are of the finest quality.
Being a totally mobile surf school we are able to offer transportation in our free surf bus direct from your accommodation to a variety of the finest beaches in Cornwall.
About Us
With St. Ives Bay being one of the most westerly regions of the British Isles it allows a huge window for any swell being generated in the North Atlantic, with the next landmass being North America approximately 2800 miles away. Due to the year round consistency of surf, combined in the summer months of May to October with the warm waters of the Gulf Stream, you are guaranteed the experience of a lifetime. Your instructors, Pete and Lar were both born and raised in Cornwall so needless to say their local knowledge is unprecedented.
After enjoying surfing trips to America, Portugal, The Canaries, France and the Indian Ocean, they have decided that the shores of Cornwall are among the finest in the world.
Pete and Lar's surfing and coaching abilities ensure a fun and professional trip you will never forget. British Surfing Association and Royal Life Saving Society certification back up our local knowledge, offering our customers that added security.
