2 purposes:
(1) I run a karate club which includes people with disabilities, an area very close to my heart. We are based in Kent, SE England and run regular weekly training sessions, courses, seminars, competitions and a whole lot more;
(2) The South of England Martial Arts Festival for Disabled People: an (almost) annual event aimed at encouraging people with disabilities into martial arts clubs near where they live. The next Festival is being held over 2 days on 3 & 4 December 2003 - please see website for further details (www.twt.org.uk) and it aims to increase the profile of martial arts for people with disabilities plus run taster sessions in a wide variety of styles plus stage some demo's and, for the first time, a kata competition will tke place too, a first for Europe.
