The East Kent Crusaders Basketball Club is a youth basketball club based in Canterbury , Kent . The fundamental aim of the club is to provide all local children in the East Kent region who wish to participate in basketball , the opportunity to do so.
The club has various mixed boys and girl’s youth teams for children aged 7-18 years of age .
We run five teams for the under 11’s , under 13’s , under 14’s , under 16’s and the under 17’s.
We welcome new players whether beginners or experienced and a new player can come and train with us before deciding whether or not they would like to join the club.
We are an accredited club with England Basketball .
The under 11’s train on Saturday mornings from 9.00 am until 10.00 am ( £ 2.00 ) and play in a local monthly tournament.
The under 14’s train on Saturday mornings from 10.00 am until 11.30 pm ( £ 3.00 ) and Thursday’s from 5.00 pm until 6.00 pm ( £ 2.00 ) and play in a monthly league at both the under 13 and the under 14 age groups .
The under 17’s train on Saturday mornings from 11.30 am until 1.00 pm ( £ 3.00 ) and on Thursday evenings from 6.00 pm until 7.00 pm ( £ 2.00 ) .The under 16’s play in two local leagues whilst the under 17’s are limited to friendly games.
