Matlock is a small town at the centre of Derbyshire though over many years the Table Tennis activities of the League have tended to be concentrated at the Cromford Community Centre a couple of miles to the south. This has been the effective headquarters and the main venue for coaching, team match nights, meetings and special events such as finals nights. Over recent years the League has branched out further by making increasing use of the newly developed Wirksworth Leisure Centre some 3 miles further to the south.
