Founded 1896 - A tennis club for all the family
The Club continues to grow year-on-year which we hope is a reflection on the good facilities we have to offer all standards of players, from beginners to tournament players, juniors to regular team players. However, perhaps most importantly of all, we take pride in our reputation as a friendly club. So whatever type of tennis you're looking for, we have something to offer.
We have open Club sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings. More serious tennis is played during open and junior tournaments. These are run under the LTA ratings scheme so there is a place for everyone.
To help prospective members get a feel for the club we hold an open Sunday afternoon session at the beginning of each season. Why not come and have a game, a chat and a cup of tea - all the family will be welcome. Alternatively, come down on one of our club nights or get in touch with a member of the committee.
