Treasure gymnastics is a new club formed in January 2006.
The club is registered with British gymnastics and is working towards gaining their quality assurance mark (Gym mark)
The coaches have extensive experience of coaching recreational gymnastics and have brought together a number of existing recreational classes to create a formal structure allowing development of talented gymnasts and participation for a wide group of children.
The club aims to offer quality gymnastics coaching to as many children as possible, giving an introduction to the sport and showing that it is a sport anyone can do not just the elite few.
Working with
The club is growing fast and already boasts in the region of 300 members. We hope to expand in the near future and offer more recreational classes at more leisure centres / community halls to reach even more children.
Our newly formed squad have just begun training and are working towards entering the British Championships in 2007
We also intend to expand in the near future to offer activities for children of pre-school age.
Because of our fast growth we are constantly looking for new volunteers to help with coaching and for our committee to help with event organising and fundraising.
