Loughton Flyers Trampolining Club was established in 1995 and is based at Loughton Hall Sports Centre, Rectory Lane, Loughton, Essex IG10 3RU. The club provides recreational trampolining, working towards the British Gymnastics Award scheme and competition trampolining from Grade 6 to Grade 1 National Level to children aged between 3 – 16 years of age. The club is registered with British Gymnastics and has fully qualified coaches and helpers within the club.
Trampolining provides physical benefits such as strength, body awareness, balance, co-ordination, muscle tone, height/depth perception, reaction speed and stamina. Non-physical benefits can also be achieved such as consideration for others, trust in coach, independence, self image, confidence, patience and sense of achievement. Though most important of all is that trampolining provides fun and enjoyment of the sport.
