At the Bristol Bukoan we practice a style of martial art called Kyushindo. Kyushindo is a blend of many forms of martial arts, predominantly karate, but also including Aikido, Ju-Jitsu, Judo as well as numerous self-defense techniques.
The Kingswood Foundation's beautiful Victorian building houses performance, rehearsal and studio spaces which are used by youth arts groups, community agencies, artists and small businesses. These excellent facilities include:
- 50ft x 35ft training floor
- 20ft x 20ft crash mats for floor based activities
- Suspended wood strip flooring
- Fully heated with excellent lighting
- Full length mirrors across one wall
- Separate male/female changing rooms with hot showers
- Ample free parking
